Michael R. Shimeta, DDS, of Cudahy, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at the age of 61 years. Beloved husband of Teena Marie (nee Scherr) for 22 years. “Fur Daddy” of Murphy and Mia. Cherished brother of Carol (the late Dennis) Meyer, Pat (Mark) Koncki and Bob Shimeta. Dear son-in-law of Leo and Paulene Scherr. Special brother-in-law of Terry (Lisa) Scherr. Former brother-in-law of Rosmarie Colla. Mike is also loved and will be missed by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and patients. Preceded in death by his parents Richard and Mildred Shimeta.
Mike served the community for over 35 years at Michael Shimeta, DDS Dental Practice in Cudahy. He was both past President and Treasurer of the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association and was a member of the Wisconsin Dental Association.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 8, from 1:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the SALVATION ARMY OAK CREEK, 8853 S. Howell Ave., Oak Creek. Funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM. Private burial Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Wisconsin Parkinson Association appreciated.
